WORLD
During the 1960s and 70s the WCC, the Roman Catholic Church, and Evangelicals (as at Lausanne, 1974) all moved to take the world outside of the church more seriously as an arena of God's mission and the churches'.
Lesslie Newbigin once spent a long plane flight reading the whole New Testament looking at the ways in which the world was talked about. It changed his understanding about how God relates to the world.
There is the goodness of Creation as well as fallenness. Experience of both affects our interpretation of God's mission and ours.
